Meet Our Director
Hi, my name is Ms. Darian, and I’m the director at Linglestown Early Learning Center. I bring more than 10 years of experience in education and human services, working with children from 6 weeks old through middle school. I’ve held roles as a teacher, center director, and curriculum director in a variety of learning environments. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Millersville University in multidisciplinary studies with a concentration in educational studies and a minor in early childhood integrative STEM. In 2023, I completed my Director’s Credential and plan to continue my education.
My approach to early childhood education is rooted in supporting the development of the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. I emphasize curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through student-centered learning and hands-on STEM activities that encourage exploration and real-world problem-solving. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, family time, and volunteering in the community. I live with my husband, our two boys, and our two dogs. My goal at LELC is to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for our children, families, and staff. I look forward to getting to know you and working together to help your child thrive.
